well looks like there's a few going got a BBQ we can borrow up there KTMBOY/CHOP?

You only need two tools in life - WD-40 and Duct Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.
And now a third thing a bloody big gun to shoot theives with!

Well, I saw Barty's car & the grey Proceed. Didn't see you guys though

Still, had a great ride. Finally improving my sand riding. Really enjoyed a couple of the Enduro loops too.

You guys have a good ride?

We all had a great ride!! Rupe, barty, A&R, Me an My son. Telliman for a bit. Pierce and his brother joined us for a bit as well. Disappeared for about an hour or more each time out. We did all the red and blue tracks we could. I think we did them all. In fact we where trying to do all the tracks on the map I'd printed from earlier in this thread. We did the twister, track of doom, Chopper all the main ones and a few more.
The place was pretty nicely groomed, not so whooped out as normal Sundays. So we where fair moving at some places. Great job KTM boy! Nice sunny day! One spot Barty and rupe where ahead of me. We where riding as quick as I could go. I could see them up ahead and was nearly keeping up, then a bloody Doe leaped from 5 meters on my right went flying across the track at about head height and landed about 3 meters on my left. My first thought was Shit I wish I was as fast as the deer was through the forest. Blimming hell it was like a flash, only caught on to what it was as it bounded away through the forest. My second thought was I was bloody glad it didn't take me out.
Still got a few skills to catch up on so the others don't have to wait for me and I can make it up the soft sand hills first attempt but there's still hope for this old fart yet. Must be bloody crazy tryin to keep up with these young fellas anyway.
Nearly 3 hours seat time on the meter (Barty and Ruecop did 4 hours)Twisted my ankle a bit on a root earlier in the day, put up with it, then gave it a good wrench on the last run. So we called it quits lucky we did because it was 5 O'clock and the guy was waiting to close the gate. He didn't look impressed but was nice with it. Lucky we didn't ride for another 1/2 an hour like I wanted to.
Damn good day, good company even getting to like the sand a bit now!
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '

Had a good time. By the end of the day I had the sand thing going about a million times better than at the start (paddling with my feet and crashing into lots of banks). Once I got going properly it was good tho, had some prolonged moments of frustration on the blue (little bike barely making it up a steep sandy bit, gonna make it, gonna make it....Ohhh tree root outta nowhere and now I'm half buried for the 34674th time, brilliant.) the cool thing was getting all riled up made me ride so much better. I'm not so naturally aggressive so maybe I need to channel that more, save it up during the week for the bike
Couldn't have asked for a nicer Sunday

I took my daughter up there on her little yellow DS80 and nannied around with her. It's her 3rd time on a bike and 2nd on the little 80. She's doin well, getting up to 3rd gear and even went onto a yellow track. Some guy passed us once and gave her a thumbs up. Every so often I'd open up the throttle and go sideways along a ridge just to get the adrenaline going. It's our first time there and she really loved it. The 10 inch travel on the XR is definitely an improvement. We left just before 5pm. A great day!

Was a good days riding. We were pretty lucky with the weather in the end! Good to see the Kiwibikers out there (reckless, telliman etc). Sorry we didn't do too much riding with you RIck, no doubt would've got left in the dust haha. Know what oyu mean bout the dear and wildlife in the forest, they tend to just jump outta nowhere. I think i saw you out there oldskool, will say hi next time. We were the guys parked near the beginners track entrance with the CR250's.

Yeah we were parked near the beginners track too, in a blue/silver RVR and an old 1968 5ft trailer. Were you the guys parked the next row down from our trailer?
