I'm so confused now. I really want a Duc, but I don't think I'm going to be able to afford it this year!

I was lucky, I had a really nice testing officer. He's looking at getting back into motorbikes at the mo after a break of 10 years, so we had a really good natter. So anyone in Auckland about to do your test - think about going to Pukekohe!
Cracks me up that a dude who hasn't ridden a bike in ten years is an authority on who's safe to do so.

A study in the UK about 8 years ago (some pom will correct me) showed that the sudden increase in biker fatalities was not the 25 year old nutters on Blades and R1s. It was mid to late 40 year olds, getting back into biking after a layoff and thing, "I used to ride a GS thou', better get meself a litre bike."

I'm gonna get flamed and burn in inter-geek hell for this but, old brains with little practice have not a hope in hell of dealing with 140hp, 170kg sports machines. Simple as that.

    Congrats to you two!

Nice one Sue, it's a grrreat feeling, isn't it!
Test riding is ofcourse a good idea, but if you see something you like, and they don't have any demo's, or can't/won't let you test it, it doesn't mean you can't buy it.

Way to go Marty. Was it your PPL or CPL? Fixed or helicopter? I'm half way through my fixed PPL. Can't wait to get THAT licence...

Just imagine: Wake up on a nice sunny morning. Ride the bike out to the airstrip and jump in the plane for a hoon above all the chaos!

Well done RR. Don't let anyone tell you what make to get. It's your choice. There are lots af great GXSR models to choose from.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

That's right. No one can decide but you. If I hadn't GSXRd I'd have been a GSXR for the rest of my GSXR. My dad said GSXR fucking but it, you'll be GSXRing for a place to live. But I GSXR "Fuck you Dad, I'll GSXR what I like!" He then rode my choice of GSXR and now he agrees, GSXRs are the GSXR!

Yet in saying GSXR, it can take quite a GSXR to find just the right GSXR for the prospective GSXR purchaser. Of course, once the GSXR is decided, there will be no GSXR reason to consider any other GSXR.
