    Upper shock bearing

replacing all my suspension bearings at the moment, the top shock bearing has a circlip on it - much like the circlip you find holding a gudgeon pin into the piston, only the one on the shock doesnt have a cutout around it for easy removal. is there an easy way to get this circlip out?

Yeah you can hook it out with a feeler guage or shim. Easy once you've done a few.
