    Seat alterations?

Does anyone know of a good person in Auckland that does Seat Alterations? I need some more padding and a differant sitting surface. I know there is McDonald Motor Trimmers and have heard nothing but good reports about them but they are in Tauranga and I cant afford to spend 2 or 3 days waiting in that beautiful town for the seat. plleeaasseee help.

    cheers
    Matt

Dude their are seats and there are Mcdonalds seats, like chalk n cheese. I had major probs with my KLR seat and I took it over dropped it off , shortly after was presented with a bum saving back saving seat which made me love riding all over again, perfect work fair price
Go the extra effort and do it its worth it !

Can vouch for them as well (McDonalds that is). I booked mine in at the start of April and only had to wait for a few hours while they did it. Fantastic day trip, home in time for dinner! Well worth the effort to get it done down there. (Im in Sth Auck).

I would highly recomment Mcdonalds too - was a simple case of booking in it for a particular day then turning up and waiting for a call to say it was done. Very easy to kill a few hours in Tauranga I can tell you and an easy day trip (didn't have to leave sth auck too early, and still home for dinner!) They did a fantastic job and I haven't hard a sore bum since!
