Classic. Perhaps you could be witnesses if he tries the `suspect didn't know he was in a pursuit' tactic in court; he was only out on a pleasant Sunday ride, even took the time to wave to people on the side of the road...

personally i dont give a shit if the rider runs from the law or not but if he hits or kills someone he should be done for murder
One hell of a ride.
I was riding on the Hauraki plains in a group and the red and blues went off.
One guy ran.
They caught him 15 minutes later.
He saved the rest of us a slap on the wrist - 20 over at best - and entered a world of sell-your-bike pain.
If I can give any of you noobs the learn: Pull over - smile nice - have the licence out - be respectful - and it's a whole lot better in the long run. You can only dodge so many bullets.

Well, it wasn't me - although I was wondering why there were so many cops on Albany hill at about 10am - coincidence?
On the note of Albany hill - thank you SO MUCH to the white wagon that flashed me before I crested - I would have been walking for 28 days if you hadn't done that - and only a biker would have done it, so big ups.
Its diametrically opposed to the sanitised existence of the Lemmings around me in the Dilbert Cartoon hell I live in; its life at full volume, perfect colour with high resolution and 10,000 watts of amplification.
