    Blah VTR1000 air filter required

    Any of you VTR1000 owners got a used airfilter I could have ? ( will pay post of course ) - its for a project. Must be undamaged apart from being used that is .
    or another option -
    If you have a new spare one ,and want to part with that, I will pay a fair price

    Is this to replace one, or an extra? If the former, you considered converting the OEM one to a Unifilter?
    ... and that's what I think.

    air filter

    Its to alter a stock one with a mod I found on th web to try it out ...

    VTRs don't much like airbox mods, and even installing a K&N causes headaches with tuning.
    I converted mine to a Unifilter, by cutting out the paper element and gluing in some Unifilter foam. Worked really well, cost me $35, and I still have some foam left over for another one.
    ... and that's what I think.

    which would be handy if you still had a VTR......
