It actually turned out to be much cheaper going the the $110/hr dealer, as they took a fraction of the time to get the job done....and they knew exactly what they were doing...

I think it is not always fair to judge a mechanic based on how cheap their hourly rate is.
Mr motorcycles also sell the suzuki vl250, so are just as qualified to service my bike.
and yes I checked and both dealers do the same service checks. It was just quoted cheaper. Nothing to do with how long it took them. Colemans quote was for less than an hours work so was Mr Motorcyles. So when the quotes were so different I went with the cheaper one and absolutely no regrets. Great service, good price.
I wouldn’t be broke if the voices in my head paid rent
