    TM motorcycles

what a laugh went to a ride during the week with a mate and saw one of these bikes and have to say what a laugh it wasnt going to well for the poor guy who was riding it.

i bet he wished he had a ktm or honda or yamaha after all the dramas he had.
i wonder if he put it on trade me $1 reserve lol

yea, anything euro is probably awesome(this is a completely unbiased view)
but if you treat any bike badly it wont work properly
so i would think it not running properly was down to user error and carelessness opposed to mechanical or design fault
we may just go where no ones been

Would back a well sorted TM against almost anything available out of the box.
The 300 EN is a man eater, and the 144 will stomp damn near anything close to it's capacity. Get him to call the guy's who really know the brand.
But then again, standard parts like excel/ohlins/reikon, and euro winning internal design mean nothing aye

If it's the shop in Akld that advertisers as a "TM pro shop", then maybe he should avoid it, (unless the work is done under warranty). MHO

A guy is advertising them on trademe.

    He makes this statement:

    To all TM Racing customers:

All unauthorised parallel imports have been ceased, TM Racing New Zealand is the single New Zealand source for all TM Racing products, technical information and warranty.

NZ customers who have paid deposits or full payment to Paffoni NZ Ltd (Danilo Olla) will NOT be receiving supply of 09 models and spares. TM New Zealand will supply these customers direct with full support inclusive.

This is their website: http://www.tm-racing.co.nz/ - there seems to be a review of the 300 enduro on their forum which gives it a right slagging.

Theres some pratt on a TM who seems to delight in roaring up and down the road where everyone is parked a half dozen times at most trailrides in the Auckland area for some reason. Wonder if the bike fouls up if he doesn't do this or he just enjoys being a pratt?

Twice the displacement, twice the cost and a decibel problem, I'll pass on the inside brraaaap!!!

He'd probably do the same with a Honda,Kawasaki.KTM,
Yamaha,Suzuki,Bummer hummer or Massey Ferguson for that matter!
I often wonder at trail rides why a lot of guys start their cold engines and revv and revv the bollocks off them straight away.It certainly doesnt do their motors any good whatsoever. The bike will warm up just as quick letting it idle.
Whether you think you can or cant - you will always be right.

Your quite right! I guess alot of them have poor jetting and foul plugs.
I start my bike and let it idle while I put the top part of my riding gear on. Another thing, I never ever start my bike and run it after washing it and never had a problem from not doing so. In fact I suspect the reason I get such good mileage out of my motors is the reduced cold starts I perform. Most of the wear on an engine is during the cold start.
I notice a lot of four stroke riders have to ride through the pit area blipping their throttle on and off. Not sure if they have no throttle control of just like the sound it makes. I suspect both actually.
    Anyway,
