Bloody favouritism I say. Check out issue 18, April 04 p24 story. They rejected our wheelie photos- not appropriate behaviour ! What do you mean?

Subscribed to BRM for a couple of years now. Excellent mag.Glen was even nice enough to put a small article of my TL in it a while ago. Bit a buzz to see your bike in glossy print. Shame he had to include my ugly mug with it as well.

Re: the RE5

I used to own a rotary (RX4) and absolutely loved it.

Was really enthusiastic about the Norton Rotary competing in the Grand Prix. Pity it didn't do better than it did in the standings.

One thing that pissed me off was the commentator (can't recall his name but Pommie ex racer - any ideas ?), was completely dissing the bike when it was getting lapped by the front runners, saying it shouldn't be in the field as it was slow and not a 500cc 2-stroke. What the dickhead forgot to mention was that the bike had outperformed many 500cc bikes in order to get a place on the grid !!

This is the Brit GP where Ron Haslam was riding the rotary? Well, actually, they did get a wild card entry and not even too sure they actually qualified, but were allowed to start the race anyway, as a sort of goodwill gesture. I'm not sure they beat any 500's at all......
