The mormon few Labour Day ride

i believe i met a few of you in pironghia...

zrxer, and a few others....i hope your ride went well!

doing the "kawhia GP" with you guys was cool.

the guy on the gixxer thousand rode pretty well, nice pipes, we had fun riding with him.

my gixxer proved itself pretty well in the tight stuff, it felt so good.

the roads were a bit dirty between kawhia and waitomo.

did the otrohonga-TA back road at 180+

what a mint road that was, so clean, nice sweeping corners, a cool bridge to get air off.
i nailed a sweet 3rd gear 160+ wheelie that stayed up for about 600m at a guess. i love that thousand
safkiwi and i swapped bikes on the way home and i flew past a yellow TL1000R on the GSR600 on the back wheel tapped out in 2nd gear.
man, nakeds are so easy to wheelie and ride, i had almost forgotten!

Here for a good time, not a long time.
It’s diametrically opposed to the sanitised existence of the Lemmings around me in the Dilbert Cartoon hell I live in; it’s life at full volume, perfect colour with high resolution and 10,000 watts of amplification.

Danger could of been my middle name, but it's not, it's John
To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded

The cool thing is that if Carver leaves his video camera on his bike, we'll get to find out.
