Thanks guys for the company last night. I will post the "team photos" later today.

What a great night for a ride! It was great fun and I think everybody enjoyed themselves. We should do some more of these before summer runs out.

I really enjoyed the leisurely pace. I didn't feel the need to play catch up once Anytime you're going, give me a yell

Damn, I missed you guys and tagged along with the other ride which came by my way but they were too quick for me. Ended up going around Makara on my own - that road is an experience!

Should be able to make a 6pm ride next week

I know, I saw you appear in my mirror about 2kms before the end of the road (start of the 50 zone). But, I did slow down half way, partly because I didn't think anyone was trying to catch up but mostly because the road was interesting in one or two places. Especially that left? hander bridge. There was a small gravel patch right in the line of the corner (in the bottom of a dip / strange camber)...

I'd like to come on more of those rides, to try get the "greyhound instinct" out of me (open road, GO!!!!)

Get a naked bike. That's what I did it for. You KNOW when you're doing loss-of-license speeds...
Plus you can drop and it doesn't cost much!
