Lucky luck man. I have said that one may be my next bike. Will you be doing a write up in the mag?

And, and ... and ... he offered to let me have a drool over it, but I was one day late checking my messages :slap:

Never mind, will just have to read the write up and let my fertile imagination take over

Yes, spied mr Toto et al whilst putting the CB through the process.

Kendog, my brief is a quick spin article and a portrait.

It will do the rounds of media and dealer folk and then we'll get it back.
I've done 500km on it over the weekend - all conditions - and may not have finished yet.

    $18.5K or thereabouts. Phwuck!

Hondas are always a touch expensive when launched and get cheaper over the years. Blackbird and Hornet spring to memory as recent obvious examples.

Not really that expensive if you throw the likes of KTM/Aprilia into the mix as competitors.

Whats the clearance like between pipe cover and ground? It looks like it will touch down under sportier riding.

As long as Honda carried on the formula from the 919, I don't see the 1000r failing any time soon, but it doesn't look quite as practical, with not many mounting points looking available for full givi rack gear etc.
