As long as Honda carried on the formula from the 919, I don't see the 1000r failing any time soon, but it doesn't look quite as practical, with not many mounting points looking available for full givi rack gear etc.
Nothing close to scraped at moderate to brisk pace.

No this is not a practical bike. This is strap a motor to your butt and fly low. Nekkid like bikes are meant to be.

    Was nice to meet you.
We were commenting that the new bike looks like it's going to transform and start talking to us haha.
Got a higher resolution copy of that first photo by any chance? It's a keeper.

    Cheers.

I'm a bit worried about you blokes but.

A moderate size group, all in good gear with well maintained bikes, (chain guards don't count) and all riding sensibly, with courtesy.

This is not good for KB bandwidth you know.

Edit - oh yeah, pic - it's only a mini cam.

My fuel tank leaks petrol, has a big patch of paint missing and I have half an indicator.
    I'll do better I promise!

I hope Madbikeboy doesn't catch wind of this thread - it'll ruin the Uni biker's bad name!

Well I had to wear something bright so the others could try to catch up.

Because someone had to represent the viffer-gang, since you're such a blinkin' weekend-rider.

Was the test bike from a dealer or from honda...? I'm finding it difficult to find out who is going to have a demo model at the moment......

    It's Blue Wing's press unit.
They will be in high demand for a while.

Edit - Oops wrong pic. I'll find the right one and add it. There.
