A ticket for not wearing eye protection.

Was just over at the TL website and read a thread by a guy who pulled up at a set of lights and lifted his visor, lights change and he pulls away then flips his visor down only to see a set of disco lights in his mirror, pulls over and is issued a ticket for $100 reason, not wearing eye protection Hopefully those that decide our fate dont follow the rulemakers in the states eh.

Well that puts it in a bit more context. No different to any other wee traffic law, wear a seat belt etc. We sometimes don't do it & get caught out
To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded

No idea but the guy who posted the thread was from Florida.Did a search and it seems helmets are needed there as well.Just serves to highlight his dismay really, reckons he would have gone about 20 yards before flipping the visor down.

Sounds a lot like the last ticket I got for not wearing a seat belt...

"I just pulled out of the servo & hadn't quite got to the putting on of the seatbelt part just yet"
