Seriously Stephen I do think you will be satisfied with the 14t for almost all situations( barring doing the Rusty nuts southern cross in March!)....it is a reasonable compromise at both ends of the engines range.
I have done 25000+km with the same 2 circlips in now - they are 100% trouble free!
I'm no gynaecologist, however I would be happy to take a look......................

Sorry guys, count me out too. Work..............Arrrrrrrrrrhhhhhhhhh. Too many people away next weekend, and stocktake and stuff.

    Have fun.

However, I have a few days off early next week, so might have a poke around the Makiro, Pori, Rimu, Little Manuhara, Towai on Tuesday. That would make one hell of a loop.

I will have a mate joining us on a KTM 990 ADV. He has never done the traverse so it will be a good effort to get that thing around the track...
At least there are enough hands to work some magic on the tough bits..
Thinking it is going to be dry though which will be good.

Hi Mark - thanks for your note - we'll look out for you and your pal Brett on the Katooms as we head North from Jerusalem on Sat AM. If we don't meet beforehand on the River Road - Reatehi - Clowns Cafe in the Main Street might be good. I have your cell # now so can reach you if necessary - coverage permitting. Cheers Stephen

Hi Pampa (and others watching) - Does Shell Mana 3.30pm Friday work for those of us living in Wellington?

My plan is to reach Wanganui between 6-6.30, grab a cafe meal and head off up the River Road to Jerusalem reaching our destination before dusk.

I'll update the calendar entry with this departure time.

Colin (that looks like fun) and BoGSer (Gerard) suggest you PM me our intentions about where you intend linking up - cheers S

Put the TKCs on. they looked so big and shiney I thought I needed to dirty them. I may have gotten over enthusiastic with getting them dirty Wednesday I am taking the trailer out to Whanga to get the wee beasty and bring her home The dreaded engine stops for a rest fault has reappeared I thought I had fixed it (its been twelve months). I will see what I can find with her but unless I can find something I am not excited about taking her too far afield. Even with many helping hands if she decides to rest in the middle of the Traverse she may get shot through the oil cooler to put her out of her misery.
    Let us pray

Hi Colin - hope she comes good - would be a shame to miss out but I understand entirely. Keep us posted - and yes prayer may help

Meantime - I'm wrestling with removing the carb on my DR to relocate the Scott Oiler vacuum take off point on to the carb manifold as I plan to fit a larger IMS tank this week - if it all turns to custard I'll be putting the original tank back on or bringing the Bemmer - which for me would be a challenge.

    cheers S
