Who has a 50cc mini chopper?

    Hey

I'm planning on making a barstool racer and will probably use a 50cc lifan motor of trademe.
I just want to know what gearing is on the 50cc choppers and what speed they get up to?

    thanks

Ask skidmark, he was workshop supervisor at Lifan Motors out East for a while a couple of years back.

where opinion holds more weight than fact.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

my missus bought a 3/4 sized 50cc cruiser, after little work here and there we can get around 80kms outta it, looking at getting a new race cdi, larger carby for it then should be looking around the 100km+ mark

I was riding up the Albany hill one time, and passed a bunch of mini-choppers going in the same direction.

Their top speed seemed to be about walking pace, but then I was possibly going a touch faster than I should have been...
It’s diametrically opposed to the sanitised existence of the Lemmings around me in the Dilbert Cartoon hell I live in; it’s life at full volume, perfect colour with high resolution and 10,000 watts of amplification.

Sounds good. Any idea on what gearing the sprockets have?

    Cheers

Havent checked that out, they come out with a 14 tooth front sprocket, now changed to a 15 tooth, run a 38tooth on the rear an looking to change rear wheel, sprocket etc they currently have a 12" rim but looks enough to take slightly larger rim, defitnitly enough room to go wider.

If mini choppers are the answer, what was the question?
To anyone that ever told you you’re no good… They’re no better.

    perhaps the question was:

what's a simple way to look retarded without having to open your mouth?
I am Jack's complete lack of remorse .
