Bike and Car License

So I have my Full motorbike license and only restricted car license, I often drive after 10pm with passengers.

If i get pulled over, Do I have a good argument in saying how is it that I can ride a bike with a passenger after 10pm than drive a car where the motorbike takes more skill?

I am just too dam lazy to go get my full car.

You can give it a good try... however... you're breaking the law. Simple as that. Your luck would depend on the cop.

edit: I have a cage learners... driven a whole two times (a couple of years ago at least). I have a bike full... does that mean I can do anything in a car, as a bike is more challenging?

The licensing laws are bullshit.

How can a 15yr old kid with no driving experience, be allowed to purchase a very powerful car on a learners licence (which happens) yet for someone like me who was a professional driver for 15yrs, a huge range of classes of licence, have over 30 years driving experience but I have to be restricted to a 250cc mbike.

Where does driving experience, life experience and maturity come?

It's this hypocrisy that I have never owned a 250cc and until recently I was riding on a learners licence for the last 12 years, never once pulled over.
The times when I have had to go through a random check point, I was questioned over my licence and bike size, they let me carry on every time.

One of lifes little annoying things you put up with, or ignore (and take your chances when engaged in "law breaking"). The system would probably be wrenched wide open with all sorts of loophole bandits if licensing laws were left pretty much up to the discretion of those handing out the licenses. I handled the 12 months stuck on a 250 (even though I've held a full car license for nearly 30 years). I think it's totally irresponsible that a relatively immature 15 year old can go out, drive a high performance car at 100kph (then in addition ignore the few restrictions that they are legally obliged to observe, such as the 10pm curfew, no passengers blah blah blah). Who knows, maybe one day there will be a better system in place with some sort of restriction to car rating for newbie drivers etc. (hahaha, make them all drive a smart-car or some such thing, or only old vauxhall vivas, nissan sunnys etc until they get their full!!!) Imagine the fur flying and air turning blue from all the negative reaction to that.....

It's called catering for the lowest common denominator, and you can't bring skill into it because that would be discriminating against people who don't possess any..

Long story short... no.

There's a rule you break by doing that. Broken rule = ticket. Cops could waive it of course but then their quotas don't get filled and Uncle Helen's revenue gets depleted so she can't defend herself in the rugby/painter/corn gate scandals

My God (s)he'd be held responsible for stuff ... and we don't want that now do we?

my ol viva still does more than the limit and good burnouts
