I do SVR about 5 times a week, and onto Walton - more in the summer. Love the sweeping 100mph corners and blind crests - especially the downhill section towards Starkey Rd.

Apologies for quoting your embed Marty - I didn't expect it to reappear. I was about to edit it out but the shop got busy and I had to leave it for a bit to gather some revenue.......and so I got "the warning" instead.....it was a gen-u-wine mistake.......

quite pathetically I dont own any road... Maybe I should.. but I quite like taking a different route every time I go somewhere. My bike is a bit of a toy really. I dont commute anywhere..ergo dont own a road.. I feel so left out.

but I do own my bike... all of it...growl... and its black and shiny and I love it. :lol Does that count???

You could have come up tomorrow and helped me put my new fork internals in. Then we could have seen who owned the Coro Hill. Either way, it would have been a good result with a Honda owning it

    SH58, Fitby to Trentham.

Every day, 200km per week. Some sweeping corners, some twisties (along the Inlet) to keep you awake, with a few straights.

However plenty of other bikers travel it each day, so can't claim it.

    Or this one:

Which despite quite a few people having ridden over the years, I can - by virtue of lapping it on many hundreds of occasions - claim as my own.

BUT I usually go south on it since I live at the northern end.......so maybe you can have rights for south to north and I could have north to south.....OR since I ride it usually early in the day, maybe we could time share....? What time do you do the trip?
I will look out for you from now on - I am in the black gear on a red SV650S...and I usually wave....(if I have time....) How will I know its you?

And yes I do agree the best bit is between Otorohanga and Pirongia....maybe I will do it clockwise some time too......nice post BTW.....

P.S. I will have to try that back route from Otorohanga to Te Awamutu - thought there must be something better than SH3.....

I also like the Kihikihi - Parawera - Arapuni road as well. Can go up either side of the river to Cambridge but west bank looks better although I missed the turnoff last time out....
Funny that I have not seen you on my road . I rode it every weekend for about a year and a half and at least one weekday for the last two years. Now I am on it every day commuting up to Hamilton. Will look out for you, I am on a black gpx with black gear and helmet. I am on it 7.30am heading north and from 5.30pm heading home (or maybe not if Mr Plod reads this).

And yep Arapuni road is good to. Something about the sweeping corners I prefer over the tight twisty ones, don't own that one either though.
