    Riding Whitianga area?

    Goin to Whitianga January.

Take the MX Bikes?? Anywhere good to ride up there?
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

    Edit MX bikes!

Posted in the off road section. So I meant MX tracks, enduro loops, forest rides etc.

I have never riden that region so just getting the gen on the secret MX or enduro spots!

    Local knowledge is required!

Check with Whangamata dirt riders club and I would consult DoC as well - they have some rides listed in the Coromandel.Cave Weta should be a good one to consult too I'd imagine.Just some ideas. -Let me know if you find something good - mite try and join you up there one day.
Whether you think you can or cant - you will always be right.

you can go to the east side of the forest by the speedway track and also landcorp forest via the old closed down saw mill but they shut the gates at 6pm unless you have a key which you can get via landcorp in taupo lots of people ride at both places so watch out for kids etc the joys of being born and raised there

Anymore Ideas Guys!! I'm off on Sat morning for a week need to give the new bike a few more rides. Only been on one so far! 2 1/2 hours in the forest in Paraparaumu, Wellington. Been teaching my daughter to ride the 150 over East Tamaki. 1st ride last night she got the gears, brakes and clutch sussed out enough to get the thing through to the rev limiter in 4th. That scared the shit outa me!!!!

Thanks for the info so far definitely will try and find those places. I'm a bugger for gettin lost so streets to put into the navman would be great if at all possible??
