we will be on bikes and will be in the dirt and im sure we will find a bit of mud to play in, but i dont think we be on the same ride.....................................

Well it looks like the weather gods are smiling on us, an improved forecast for Welly and Waiarapa so we're all good to go!

If there's any Welly guys going, I'll see you at the Rimutaka Caltex 9am!!!!!!!!!

New to Wellington just after finishing 6 week tour of the South Island on my Wee-Strom (http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/sh...t=86074&page=7). Just finished my first week of work here, and eager to do some ADV and off road riding on my days off (most weekends and a week day here and there). I'm shopping around for a used dirt bike in addition to the Wee strom although I don't have a transport vehicle---I may have the cart before the horse, but I want to ride!!. I'll watch this forum....give me a shout (PM or email) if anyone looking for riding mates! Have only been in NZ since December, and only in Wellington (Ngaio) for a week. I guess I'll be forced to join the debauchery on Cuba St today.

I am a fan of the ride reports on ADVrider, but have not posted my trip over there. I picked KB to meet folks and get help with travels, bike etc. Met some good people as a consequence. Still need to complete the travel tale by completing the blog, but have had trouble inserting photos in the blog, which slows down the reading a bit.
