missed out the neat km or so from the lower climb to the main climb
what a buzz getting to the top on the KLR - major major fun
Well done there fullas.![]()
I mentioned vegetables once, but I think I got away with it...........
Good going Marks. Now I know what thetrack looks like.I didn't realise it was so long.
In life as in dance Grace glides on blistered feet
Go Mark, you were the happiest KLRista yesterday!
And now we all know your Jardine exhaust is not loud enough to mask your Austin Powers jivetalk.
weather looks better for Sunday...
Just some misc bits of video from the other bits of the ride. The last half of it is me trying vainly to catch some idiot on an Africa Twin who seems to think he was on a YZ250 - it doesn't show up in the video very well but he was getting the front wheel in the air and getting sideways into corners - it was awesome to watch.
Nice footage Mark, I really should have put the effort in to mount my bullet cam properly. sigh.
There are two kinds of adventurers: those who go truly hoping to find adventure and those who go secretly hoping they won't. We should come home from our adventures having faced their perils and uncertainties, endured their discomfort and beaten the odds, with a sly acknowledgment and revitalised solidarity of character.
Nice Work Mark, what model is your camera again?

Dunno what model it is but I had to download the vid and rotate it about 15* before I could watch it without falling off my chair...

contour 1080 HD
guilty as charged - works fine on my mx helmet but the lens (which is taped to reduce dust inhalation) needs rotating a bit for my roady helmet. At least it didn't look like I'd sandpapered my eyeballs like some other footage someone recently posted....
have a look at these photos from our first attempt nearly two years ago - what a nasty mofo of a hill
