Speaking of which, I still need to go get another front brake lever to carry as a spare after Stormtrooper took us up that Thompsons Track ride over the hill....and some abs glue for my RH front fairing...
Dang old school big bikes.
Mike, we can go into the Akatarawas (bit wet & greasy but doable unless you're a latte drinker), or we can go down the south coast (on a sat) but its sand and salt. If you want to go further abroad we can go over to Sutherlands hut over past Martinbro on the Saturday morning. I'd prolly stay tho so I could have a sniff around with the rifle depending on the weather.
So yeh, sand & salt, water & clay, or bit of mud & rock, OTY, but all good fun. Prolly Akatawaras is best bet - close, not too hard out.
There are two kinds of adventurers: those who go truly hoping to find adventure and those who go secretly hoping they won't. We should come home from our adventures having faced their perils and uncertainties, endured their discomfort and beaten the odds, with a sly acknowledgment and revitalised solidarity of character.
