Paved Roads are just another example of Wasted Taxpayer Dollars
Sounds like you had it easy
Glen wanted to ride the 257 track. Said it was fun. It might have been before all the snow and rain. Once you start you are committed as its a nasty rutty slippery downhill followed by a nasty rutty slippery uphill. Had to cut our way through a wall of gorse and manoeuvre around lots of obstructions.
This morning I feel like I've been buttfucked by an elephant.
I only videoed the easy bits...
What a shitfest - I now hate my son
Still the rest of the day was an absolute hoot![]()

Go soothingly on the grease mud, as there lurks the skid demon

There are two kinds of adventurers: those who go truly hoping to find adventure and those who go secretly hoping they won't. We should come home from our adventures having faced their perils and uncertainties, endured their discomfort and beaten the odds, with a sly acknowledgment and revitalised solidarity of character.
be my pleasure
There is a heap of KLR/DR friendly stuff buried in there
KLR/DR friendly = 525 cakewalk (but that just means you'd have to wait for us a lot)
You can ride your AT up with the 525's and wait for the KLR/DR brigade to catch up
yesterday - on the way to the 257 track
Steve you did great, in fact I was a bit pissed that you were pulling away from me up the big zigzag track - hmmm maybe that extra 750cc does create some serious torque.
FYI + Eddie
Disregarding the gorse, the Awakino Challenge loop on the Dusty Butt was much more challenging!
Do you recognise this? I reckon there was one super pissed off rider to create this monument!
Adventure Bike Ride
Yesterday we went thru Cedarholm Creek heading up to Deadwood Ridge when a branch whipped Dave off the back of his bike. There is now some serious water erosion on the track and I don't think it is suitable for medium adventure bikes - actually I was also thinking how did we manage to ride up there in the dark last summer? Buggs will prove me wrong.
Nice video, is that a two way track or one?
