Wee reminder about this ride, and also that daylight saving starts this weekend (clocks go forward, so you'll need to get up earlier )

Weather forecast is not looking as good as for the last ride we did there...

Thats why the start time is the reasonable hour of 9.15, and not something like 8.00am or 8.30am. Thw wather is whatever it turns out to be on the day, both the computer generated forecasts on metvuw, and the metservice rural ones show very little moisture untill late in the day.

Excellent ride today, even if it was a bit damp

After a fairly solid stint at the climbing wall this afternoon, I'm too lazy to write up a proper RR, so I'll just stick all my photos up here.

The Sesquicentennial Mukamuka Covenant. And the rain.

    The end of the road.

    Team Ocean Beach were...
    Rosie:

    Howie:

    BMWRSNUT:

    Eddieb:

    Michael_e:

And a couple of arty shots to finish off

Thanks for a great ride guys And thanks to Eddieb for helping load the bike back into the van. I don't think I'm cut out to be trailer scum

I reckon you would have been right if you'd had a decent length piece of wood that actually reached up to the van floor, it was only the step up from the bumper into the van that stopped you.

BMWRSNUT took a short clip of me playing around, as usual the camera doesn't show how steep it really was.
