Time to knock Clarence off (this time) in January 2012?

Keen to see this from ground level after the failure of this year's immediate post earthquake attempt.

Sh*t doesn't just "happen". There is always an a*sehole involved.

Best I be looking at getting a passport then. Probably the best I can manage is a bribe for the border officials. I have heard the ones in the Hutt Valley are easier to deal with than the ones in Paraparam

Bump, pm me for the address if you are interested.

If we're lucky there will also be riders from Hamilton and Auckland in attendance.

So, Welly Adventure riders, beer at mine on the 13th of December. All adventure riders welcome. If you don't know the address pm me.

Usual format is we all chip in for some pizzas and drink a few beers while everyone tells lies about why their make/ model of bike is better than everyone else's, though you are allowed to eat first and just turn up for the drinking and lying.

Speaking of eating, I wasn't blown away by the Hell pizza last time.

Buggs, BMWRSNUT and Peter Bates have confirmed, plus Lance who I think was at the last one you were at should be there and hopefully RogerH from Hamilton and Duncan from Auckland will also be in attendance. Pablo was talking about coming a few weeks ago but I haven't heard from him since so not sure about him.

Balrog would have come but he's sick and contagious.

OOOOPS A swift recovery to GT I hope. A timely reminder to keep left. Not always the easiest way round the corner though.

Fark, that was a close call. Lucky I guess it seemed to be a glancing blow off the corner of the wagon rather than full frontal.
There are two kinds of adventurers: those who go truly hoping to find adventure and those who go secretly hoping they won't. We should come home from our adventures having faced their perils and uncertainties, endured their discomfort and beaten the odds, with a sly acknowledgment and revitalised solidarity of character.

I'm working in the Hutt for a few days, but sadly couldn't bring my bike with me this time.
So I'm going to have to go to the pub to console myself.
7ish tomorrow (Tuesday) at the Parrot and Jigger, if anyone wants to join me
The road to hell is paved...
