There's some tracks that go to a walking track near that sign. So okay in that area. Well used.

I think what the signage is about is the farmland that the access goes through further along. It seems obvious that 4wds rip it up from time to time. And my guess is that stock nos 'vary' (dwindle) between being allowed to graze there, & being shifted elseshere, probably to the stations intense frustration

The end of the video where I am riding the gravel is several km's outside of the area marked by the Private land signs.

my bike's in the middle of being made road legal but i'll make it out there one of these weekends.

i tell you though i find it tricky knowing where not to go -- so many people don't have signs on property they don't want you to go on.

then you end up in their front yard and they give you a little speech.

Any Wellington riders wanting to come along meet at Caltex Rimutaka before 8.30am. We'll ride to meet Bart at Makairo at 10.00am.

Remember daylight saving kicks in tonight (spring forward - clocks go forward 1 hr).
