Geez, I'd thought Wellington had fallen off the face of the Earth. Are you guys still alive down there?

I'm just packing a lunch as well. If I'm late I'll wait at the summit.

Beautiful morning but the wind came up a bit this afternoon. Lots of bikes on the 'Tukas and at Martinborough.

Nice trip out to White Rock, sea was flat calm.
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.
those cheap ass bitches can do anything with ductape.

yes was quite windy this afternoon, saw quite a big group of "off road" BMW models(HP2 and 650 Dakar were recognised) in lower hutt at about 10:20 this morning, then quite a few Harleys heading over the Haywards

Ok I made it safe home having only to restart the bike 50 times to get to road, but on the road it went ok. I guess is just a BMW thing it works well on the road off road is a but reluctant

BTW Thanks Andy for the invitation

good to hear you made it home ok. once we were under way again, Mark got in the way of Steve's wall of death routine and so Steve had to limp home. Mark escorted him out leaving Andy and I to continue. 7 started and only 2 of us reached the hut. Not the best stats. Mark came back in and we finished a great ride. Thanks again Andy.

Just made it back from A&E. Broken some ribs & have some fluid (probably blood) around the left lung. They decided that they weren't going to stab me with a bloody big needle to draw that out after I broke down & pleaded pitifully with them. That needle belongs at the vets, not a hospital...So I'm home now I'll do a ride report in a bit

No one had on board video. Gus is doing fine. Just a few more battle scars (minor contusions on the boxer's face). He's tough. Here's the write up over on the Gus thread
