Wellington Rideouts - Where next?

right im off to my brothers to use his mig. make my saddle bag racks.

think i got everything,,,,, bike, bags, steel, oh and the box of piss, cant forget that.... hope i dont get pulled up on the way, if ya look closely can see my new nobbys too.

my new camera works good aye...

Saturday when kiddie free seems a good option, if I allow all day i may even get both front & rear D606's on haha! Balancing will have to wait unfortunately!

If I was around tomorrow I would have helped you, I'm not the greatest tire changer but could do in about 30 nins each. Unfortunatly I am off to Melbourne for the long weekend down on the south coast and then working all week in the office. Its going to be a awful trip as it is only 29 degrees at the moment and she is blond....hehe

yea not quite legal, but i made it to my bros, with no cops following.

bloody mig ran out of gas, so i had to go back to stone age and arc it togeather. has worked out ok.
sparks and shit flying everywhere,

did you get out for a ride today.

if your going to aussy post a pic from your office window, or maybe the blond........

Had everything ready to do the pannier racks today & discovered.....the tube bender is too small (by a mil). Bugger.

Just throwing a few ideas around, but have been thinking about organising a 'trail ride' for adventure bikes. This is just a bit of offroad fun for the big bikes, to improve skills and have a laugh. Only road legal bikes allowed (to keep the hoons away).

The family piece of dirt (near Pongaroa) is nice rolling hill country, with plenty of challenges. Plenty of nice gravel and interesting tracks nearby.

Winter's almost here, so it may have to wait until late in the year. Need full knobs in winter. It can get boggy.

Accomodation near Pongaroa.

Wotcha reckon.

its a lovely day on the coast

I might have to go for a ride. The klr is in bits waiting on an engineer to glue bits back together so I'll be on the DT.

I'd like to have a potter up Odlins Rd and explore a few nastier side trails. Was intending to head up between 1-2 this arvo although I won't go unless I can find someone to go with.

any takers?

Hi Mark - reach Fred101 - he was hoping to go - me, I'm supposed to be doing something construcutive - like painting her bookcase which I began in Feb last (08 that is) and it did not pass the Quality inspection - 'she' ( and I love her to bits!) is off on a road trip with her nursing colleagues

Back to tidying the garage in readiness for a spot of painting the bookcase
