    club day on sunday, anyone going?

    cheers. cloudy but all good, been riding all day and hasnt rained. looks like it could but we will have to see. Its an easy track and ridable in the rain anyway. 8.30... what times racing start?

    Naa I aint been but we have been keen to ride slaters for a while now, went to Patatonga today (first time at this track too, was a sweet days riding), heading out to watch the ruggers now but will be keen for Slaters if I wake up early enough to service the bike.

    what a complete fucking waste of time, followed 10 or so bikes out and the damn thing wasnt open. thanks for letting us know huntly mcc. and it was sunny as well.

    Just talked to the guy @ Huntly Honda, it was definitly on but the fuckers cancelled it becaues of all the rain on Saturday, Weak cunts, would have been a bit slippery but no worse than when the water the shit out of it between races.. Ahh well, next t ime eh, racing is on the first sunday of the month.

    they could have told us or something though... i followed a good deal of bikes out there, and there were shitloads of people parked at the gate wondering what the fuck what going on... is that the series or just the club days? u get ya new crf?

    thats wat the race line is for, i rang it just after 7.00 am and they had updated it saying it was off, good work i thought! ended up at ardmore, was mint.

    the Hunlty club is like most organisations that run motorcycle events in this country are run by volunteers, if you think you can do a better job put your hand up and i am sure they will welcome the hand,

    as the above poster said they updated their raceline??, what else did you want done?

    some people expect the few volunteers to look up everyone in the phone book who MIGHT be coming and give them a call to let them know, of course while they are doing this they had better not ring anyone who decided to sleep in.....


    on the other side of the table, it doesnt hurt to have a club website up to date as well as the raceline - its not like its difficult to update a website.

    example - www.gmsc.co.nz the one i run, its updated the moment i have new info.
