    Cheap 450X parts, do they exist???

    So... i have aquired a CRF450X with a siezed gearbox and im wondering if theres a cheaper option than in NZ than the local money bags dealer.

    so far they've proven to be quite a bit cheaper for hard parts
    (eg 40%)

    I remember talking to someone about the 450x's and there was a common issue with gearboxes and you had to run an extra bit of oil in the box. think it was like 100 mls?

    I don't remember. I heard it back when I was bike shopping a few years back. I think it was only the 450.

    yea only dealt with them twice, one lot was in stock, the other lot was ex japan, with a 3 week wait- nz dealers didnt have it either.

    dont know where he's gettign the stuff from but its all genuine,

    communication is good, prices are good, products are good - what more could you want

    I may have some parts for a gear box soon. I have bought a whole lower engine so all my internal gearbox bits and bobs will be available.

    What are you doing with yours. Rebuild or looking for a whole new one?

    Whatever i Can get the faster the better can do all work myself just wanting to spend under 2000 on parts for the gearbox, or a second hand botom end (if they are avaliable)
