    Bike stolen today (5 Nov)

My house was broken into today and just my motorcross bike was nicked.

Its a 2004 Yahama YZF250. Blue in colour. Has a Bills pipe without baffles for it is real noisy. One of the Radiators is squished so the plastic is all bent.

Was taken from my house in Dannemora somewhere between 12pm - 2pm.

Any help with people keeping an eye out would be much appreciated!!!

    Sorry to hear mate!!
How the hell to they get onto these bikes so often. They must have permanent patrols around Howick and East Auck to spot bikes and follow them home.

Question: If your car or trailer is registered to your home address can they just spot you anywhere on your travels if your bikes on the back and track your address down that way so they can nick your bike???

Funny though how a lot of them are in East Auck!! What are the cops doing about it 1vanvan??

    Bloody thieving SCUM!!!!
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '

Not sure, Sister spoke to the cops and she is fairly useless.

I'm thinking it might of been all the DARK skinned people that have been coming around for inorganic lately and they were just waiting till no one was home. Just glad i took the road bike with me today!

Jeez mate thats not good. East Auckland yeh? Seems to be a epidemic out that way.

Noisy bikes are easy to spot. I'll keep an eye out... rather, ear to the ground.

Ah ha! Trouble with Dannemora all the garages face the street so when you come and go they can see it all and there's nowhere to clean your bike except out front.

Some fucker stole my re issued credit card out of my mailbox and used it over the last couple of days! Thank god for Internet banking, I put a stop to it pronto! Banks gonna swing for the money as well!! So thats OK. We have inorganic collection here as well!! So leave you all to come up the your own conclusions.

Van watch out they don't come back for the road bike!
Life in the New NZ!!! living fear of the fucking thieves! Great isn't it!

Yep, Im justing lucky they didnt take my leather pants. My other 2 helmets, motorcross gear. And then they didnt venture further into the house. I guess they planned to only come for that.

Fuckers! They let a hat though which is a hat a lot of dark skinnned people wear. So that my conclusion!

Fark man... really sorry to hear... I came and had a look at your bike a few months ago when I was hunting for a bike... Yours was one of my final 2...thought you would have sold it by now...

    Really sorry bud...

FYI for everyone.. Insurance is about $170 a year through NAC. If its in a locked garage...
it covers theft, damage during transport and damage because of natural disasters... excess is $300...

Any neighbours got security cams or anything? Will keep a lookout when I'm out riding..
Any stand out features other than the squished radiator?
