Anyone else going to the first round this sunday?

Should be good fun if it doesnt rain, havnt really done any cross country but i thought i'd give it a crack! probably come last but it should still be a blast!

Does anyone know what the tracks are like? open and fast or tight and slow?

the tracks are pretty open normally but i have heard they are trying to slow them downa bit this year,

the first round is on Stuart Eyre's preperty which is pretty cool, if you have been to Mr Motorcycles Trail Rides the country is simlar, should be an awesome event,

Does it cost to get a day license?? or is that already included in the $30 that i have to pay?

it will be more fun if it does rain

. tracks are quite fast. day licences are an extra $20, they dont like you using day licences more than a couple times a year, so if your planning on doing all 3 rounds id look at getting a competition licence. also, if you want your points recorded, im pretty sure you have to be a member of the huntly club

you can use your first 2 day licences for a discount on a full licence,

Im going.. This will be my first farm cross country so should be a laugh.. Just trying to work out what class to ride in?

isnt it like moto starts everyone go at once? like dead toad, tarawera 100?

uh oh.. I'll probably get away quickly on the 125 then get mowed down by all the four strokes at the first turn

probably just sit a row back from everyone else and let them go ahead, dont want to hold anyone up

wasn't to many years ago when 125's won the overall's at belrays, you can go very well on 125's, and you will be passing alot of fourstrokes in the last half an hour,

im going first year in the seniors,although i did the juniors last year.

mattwood i notice you said your entry fee was $30(so in the juniors) and if the same as last year,there was only 1 row on the start..and if I remeber right most were 125's.....
