    slipper clutches for boring road bikes

    are there any or is this just a racing item
    are there any for less than $2k
    sound like a good safety idea

    If it's for your GS I doubt it. They only seem to be available for "performance" bikes. And around 2k seems to be about the damage. With a better exchange rate might be able to get one closer to 1.5k.

    Yep, good for safety, tyre wear and drive train wear.

    You can get auto/slipper clutches for the KLR650 (performance edition)
