Spent hours on the phone. No luck finding a cam chain tensioner any where for a CBR600F2. All dealers, econohonda etc etc etc..
Any ideas anyone, need one by Tuesday. Ordering from Japan will be 10 days

Cos Honda can't keep up with demand.
Perhaps you can get your mom to knit you one before she heads off home![]()
Well since it is for a CBR600F2 doubt shops will stock CCT for a bike that is more than 10 years old. Are you buying OEM from Japan? Have you looked around for aftermarket one manual CCT?
Don't just live to ride but ride to live.
Look up a main dealer in Ausie and give them a ring, I bet you get it quicker than bloody 10 days!
Check ebay australia etc too.

Sounds similar to my drama of finding a CDI for a 98 Bandit.
Suzi NZ said there is one "somewhere in NZ" at $750
Ex Japan, $1200+
Wreckers, either didn't reply to my enquiries, or over $350.
Squiggals put me onto one on e-bay motors, out of the USA, landed in NZ for $56US.
I work in the industry, and still can't believe how backward it has slipped.
Ebay for the win everytime.![]()
part number is 14550-MV9-671 if anyone has access to a database - long shots now i know
I've had a turbocharger on the doorstep from the USA two days after I ordered it.
These guys are the bees knees, I got mine from them, for my VTR1000.
Oh sorry you need by Tuesday.

Finally realised after what seems like hundreds of calls i'm not gonna get one in NZ. Sucks. Ah well 10 days from US or Japan aint too bad. 10 days, no bike![]()
