    TRTNR - Wgtn ride 19/01/06

Well what do you know, it's another Thurs night ride. I'm sure Spank must be thrilled with me clogging up his server space evvvvvvvvvvvveeeeeerrrrrrrry week. But just on the off chance the Welly crew haven't heard of it...

Meet carpark, bottom of Maungaraki hill, SH2 between Korokoro and Melling. 6pm, ride at 6.30 sharp. Ride will conclude at Breakers pool hall, above Grumpy Hole in Lower Hutt. Riders are welcome to discuss bravery and over-hype ones brief moment of glory on whichever road we have just traversed.

Feel free to bring DVDs... Deano (if he makes it) apparently has some of Jimbo trying to stick something in his butt, and if Velox can bring any band camp ones that would be much appreciated. Mikey can make his own Ghostrider vids up front... Uppsala anyone?

These TRTNR posts are getting earlier and earlier. Think MB is pretty keen to mix it up with the Welly Hcore...a bit of 'me time' MB?

Excellent idea... moderators, where are you??

I post when I have the free time... this week was Monday night. But don't worry, I'll be away for a week in surfers and might have to miss a couple in Feb, and the bike will probably be getting painted sometime soon... so for keen wannabe posters you could have an opportunity.

Damnn. I work every Thursday evening. Left a note on my bosses desk earlier asking if I can switch it out for a Monday. Got to get my priorities straight.

Any other slower riders going? I don't want to hold up the pack by myself

From experience: ya dont hold the pack up from the back.
Dont worry about it. Everyone insists on stopping every once in a while to compare lines and speeds etc...

Yeah, good point Skel. It just doesn't seem like much of a group ride for me when everyone else is miles ahead and I catch up in time to get going again and get left behind again. I'm not saying you guys should slow down. I'd love to be able to go faster. My bikes just a baby. Looking forward to the newbie ride if thats still on

phoen - I usually have a lonely ride too (esp last week )...but I reckon it is more about the gassing when you stop, rather than the gassing on the bike.
