2_slo I did get thet first little hill you went up as you were on my left but it was the only bit of riding captured all 5 seconds

there was definitly a bit of a trick to that first little hill once the roots got exposed good fun though I almost went into the fence the first time thought i'd go a bit wide to get some speed

it wasnt long after that 3rd pic that a tree removed my front gaurd
ktmboy is that last pic that log at the bottom of the hill in the first red?

    Oh,

lets forget that piece of filming ever took place.

    Correct Tom.

I did see a unique front guard arrangement on your bike but missed the shot.
    It looked hard case.

Thanks to all those organising the South Head ride yesterday. Took 2 sprogs & wife and "our" 150.

The kids had fun on the kids track, mum opted for first ride on the 150 - possibly a mistake without a) a test ride (we only just got the bike, 3rd-hand), b) off-road experience and c) a preview/opinion of the 4km loop. I was getting a bit concerned after she didn't show for a while, but I was keeping an eye on the ambo & fetcher/stretcher quad, which didn't move. Kids needed feeding, so we trundled the LT50 & pee-wee back to the trailer & met mum coming back down the road as we got there. She'd had an off, was evidently not a big fan of sand and requested, gently, that the idle speed be brought down from 3,000rpm. Mst remember that the 150 needs heaps of warming-up...

I took a turn on the 4km loop and only bailed at the tight right at the top of the first hill (both of which surprised me greatly). 150 handled the sand better than me and I did grin as I passed those who'd not made the bigger hills, until it occurred to me that I was only 1km in. Was roosted a few times, my only comment being that those passing probably had no idea how little directional control I had in the sand!

Arrived back to find morning tea over and everyone up at the kids track, chatting. Mum then went to chase the sprogs on a gentle track as she should have before (but it said "Kids Track"!) and we took turns... Yes, I got roosted by a 50 as well.

A brilliant day, I just need another $1k or 5 to get more bits to make it a bit easier/safer (body armour, camelbak, a bike each, etc). Oh, and a clue!

Not sure I learned any more than I already knew (let the bike do what it wants, it's better than I am; stand up, elbows up; if in doubt, more gas) but wife may have a go at a Cyclespot girlie day and can tell me the good stuff. Or is there no more to it?

    More please!

I bailed 3 time on That Steep Hill climb, and winding the entirety two cutty grass bushes around my rear sprocket, so made my way back down the hill and with my head hanging in shame and joined back up with the track.
Would of made a good photo though.
Was chaseing you at one stage KTM boy just before the hill climbs and my front wheel washed out on a stump. that nocked the wind out of me.

Damn missed this one.. wanted to go but kids into exams and other things like hip hop competitions and I get roped into watching LOL. never mind I will be at the next one ktmboy.

I'll see you at Maddix? ( in Uk for Waimiha) or do you just hate it that much you aren't doing it? Hope your son is OK now. Did he manage to ride on sunday?

You only need two tools in life - WD-40 and Duct Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.
And now a third thing a bloody big gun to shoot theives with!

Missing the tight Waimiha eh. Maddox park... don't know yet it depends on a couple of things.
Logs has a specialist to see soon for crucial ligaments.

But he did manage to hide his gear in the trailer for Saturdays recce. Rode around on a KLX140. Bloody good little bikes just quietly.

Then come Sunday he was sitting in normal clothes and some one mentioned to Mumsie that logan rode well yesterday helping out. Oh oh

    I quickly excited, stage right.
