Even without the cafe - Where's the pristine view???? Just because you're up high don't mean the view is worth it - honestly don't tell me you lot down there are so surrounded by scrub and eroded hills that you now think that's a pristine view?

Pristine doesn't equal what I think it should look like, nor what you think it should look like. Exactly what I meant. If that is ugly, NZ native (or English introduced gorse) - so be it.

Remove the cafe and toilet and restore that part of the hill back to its natural state. Just a bike park, preferably with lots of narrow gapped posts so only bikes can manoeuvre and park there (no cars).
