    Grub/Brett Collings RIP

Sad news for all Victoria Club members.

Brett Collings died yesterday (Saturday 8th) after a motorcycle accident while riding the Forgotton Highway southwest of Taumarunui while on an organised ride.

Everyone who has attended a Vic Meeting will have seen Brett and his partner Kari at work as they both are heavily involved in the administration of the club as well as hands on running of the meetings.

Feeling your pain Kari at this extremely sad time.

First off , my thoughts go out to Kari.

A sad loss to VMCC and racing in general. A pillar of the club when it came to getting it done.

As we all get closer to each other through the club its always going to touch more and more .

    RIP.

    Paul & Dianne.

    Funeral ride now being organised

    Hey,

The funeral will be on Thursday at Whitby Baptist Church - ride to follow him to the airport (he's going to Auckland) is leaving at around 3-3:30 time. Details in this thread here --> http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/sh...24#post1804624

Can someone associated with VMCC get the message out via boards, email lists or however you guys communicate?

    Cheers,
    Dave

Wow, I only did that road a few weeks back.

That is really sad, I never knew Grub personally but I was quite used to seeing his name around here.

RIP and condolances to the family.
