    Oh yeah, best wheelie 'post-accident'!!

Tonight, hooked her up in first off the power (oohhh the powwer), got her up nice and high before I clicked second and found the sweet spot where she just sat, high and proud looking at the sky (overcast with a little clear sky). Rode her through second, considered shifting to third (first time since 1997) but due to conditions at the time lowered her down and then clicked up.

OMFG!! What an unreal feeling that was! Just balancing up there for what seemed an eternity. I've got her up plenty of times in first and clicked second, but always ran out of steam due to being a little over cautious. Tonight was the first time I've had full control, just regulating the throttle on and off for as long as I wanted in 8yrs!! I want to get out there again, I may have cracked the formula for the one-armed power-up multigear wheelie!! Once I'm sure, I'll get some digi footage and find somewhere to host it!!

(Sorry for the over excitment, but surely some here understand?)

OAB...... must of been the day for it, cos I clicked 2nd while riding 1st out for the 1st time today aswell, can get it up in 2nd but I've never changed gear due to being a little over cautious like ya self.

So heres a question for the wheelie kings..... what do you guys find easier a V2 or a multi? and why?
    cheers DD

Sounds wicked alright. I freak out wheelieing Logans XR500 when it comes up about a cm.. hah. Feels like its 2 meters high!

To do it clicking through gears with one arm is impressive. Big ups!

For those that don't know, I have a reverse facing clutch lever on the right clip-on operated by my thumb. Changinging gear while on the back wheel is done with no clutch, just a quick blip on the throttle, as I used to do when I had use of both arms. This time however I found the sweet spot and could've clicked third, maybe even carried through to forth (I've done this on my previous gixxer many times pre accident). Like I said, when I nail it properly every time I'll get some footage of it.

For myself it is a triumph over my injury, another feather in my cap that this injury will not affect my life.

yeah...if you can get a good balence its ok but i had issues on a mates TL and i have done a few on Steves vtr....would be a bit easier if they revd a bit harder, the RSV i test rode was ok, but that rides more like a multi.

    Well done mate!Maximum respect!!!!
Never tried pulling her up one handed, may have to give it a go so I can feel what it's like.....
I've always found multi's easier too,the twins aren't responsive and revvy enough.....but as aaron said,my mates RSV ain't too bad for a twin...
