other option is a trail bike, like a DRZ125, CRF150F or a KLX140, four stroke, easy maitence, a whole lot more quieter, give me a pm or a phone call if you want to talk about it,

    cheers
Do you allow test rides scott? Could be the only real way to solve the problem!
My choice is what I choose to do,
And if I'm causing no harm, it shouldn't bother you.

    Frosty, how is it mate!!!

We have a CR80 that the missus is learning on, she has no problems on it and has never ridden bikes before. Personally I think the KX85 is the best, he may have to learn a bit of throttle control for a start, but if he has "out grown" a PW80 in a few months then he would soon "out grow" a CRF150 of KLX140.

The four strokes models have some nice bikes these days, best suited for trail riding and easier rider control. The two strokes are more raw power and excitement for the kids. Both types can be used for trail rides and just pottering around (along has you give them a blow out ever now and again) so all up to the skills and ability of the kids.

Our CR80 is sitting in the garage if you are ever over on the shore, he can take it for a ride around the back yard........

Frosty, we will have two KLX140,s (big wheel and small wheel)demo bikes at the South Head trail Ride this Sunday. (see associated thread for details) plus a KLX450 for you to have a play on.

I'm fairly sure that there will also be a KXF250 (09) and a trusty old KDX200 for Oldskool to have a ride on.

No I sold that to someone was gonna build a bucket out of it--it was gonna cost more than the bike was worth to get the suspension going propperly
