I like the CBR better because it's easier on my legs, being a tall person. But I wouldn't be the best person to give opinions I guess, since I think any supersport bike has any road value due to our shocking roads. I much prefer sport tourers for a more plush ride!

you don't have to be a squid just cause you buy a gixer you know!

I have done a ridiculous amount of wet weather riding and gotten drenched to the core so many times I can't remember. One day we had been away on the bikes for almost a week (most days wet) that we decided to put on our togs on under our still wet gear from the day before, and went to the pools and then just chucked the gear back on over top afterwards... didn't make a bloody difference! haha

    Gixers rock!

I've just been out for a quick blat with Wanpo on his latest test ride. Couldn't get the grin off his face. He looks quite pleased with himself:

    I definitely want one.

The salesdude's attitude convinced me not to purchase one from them though.

    Really? Where did you go?

I hope it wasn't Botany Honda! I'm sure they would love to throw a bike (and then some) at you!

That is one sexy bike, though...

Cyclespot on the shore, dude called Grant
He was really reluctant to let me take it out, when I get back (after cutting the ride a little short due to weather) he's like "I was worried there for a little bit" and just a generally blasι attitude. Also he only really expressed interest in helping out in the slightest when I made that I had piles of cash and was looking for an impulse purchase.

Edit... hope someone there doesn't read this, but if they do. It would help if you made your potential customers feel valued. If only Holeshot next door had a CBR1000, I genuinely wanted to buy a bike off Rob (and what a beard)

I've had a similar experience with Grant at Cyclespot in the past. I got my current bike from Holeshot next door, both Jamie and Rob there were great to deal with. I did a couple of test rides at Botany Honda, found them to be very helpful too.

yea, that CBR suits you too Robbie. I hope you have the nerves of steel to be in control of such a beast (I don't).

Yea, when I got my small hornet from Holeshot the guys threre were always super helpful and I can vouch for them too. Cant vouch for cyclespot as I have never dealt with them. Judging a book by its cover tho is such a 20th century thing to do

my 2 cents worth: colemans are good, cause they treat me like a biker and not a chick that doesn't know shit like most shops! And they know me now! haha! and dan who use to work there in parts is not at cyclespot and he's good too!

I wasn't that impressed with holeshot when i got my current bike from them, ie choose to go elsewhere if i have an option

Get to Botany Honda man, mention you're a friend of Justin, Matt and Alan and you'll be instant family! That bike really is sex on wheels, I envy your wallet haha - if I were to go supersport that would definitely be the bike for me.
