Those crazy fuel-efficient Hondas, I get about 15-16km/L assuming my normal daily commute and a once per week twisty ride.

However I'll bet your fuel consumption decreases as your confidence with the bike's performance increases.

Mine has claimed to dislike "consumer day" for years too, but this year I just thought I'd surprise her. Apparently they like surprises sometimes.

Well surprises are all good! Especially if it's at a nice restaurant because then you win too!

But it seems you haven't met Honda's V4s. Any sense of efficiency in regards to fuel is completely lost on my bike! Haha.

It's in Ponsonby. Sayaka and I will probably come for Dinner, but then move onto a more Valentines day suited environment (i.e. my bedroom; giggity).

Piss poor turnout... you lot pussy whipped or something?

Wanpo and girlie, Toto, Me. I rushed the other way from the ride to fetch bulbs for Sharry, only to get to the library rather late, and have a txt saying she couldn't come... Nevermind, later in the evening a sneaky gremlin put bulbs on her bike at her house without her knowing...

Off to Murder Burger for some fantastic burgers, bumping into ol Sarge (KB'er you younguns wouldn't know). Wanpo brings his new wheels, and refuses the mandatory offers of reacharounds, et al. He says his goodbyes after the burgers, something about having other places to be (as if our company wasn't good enough huh?). We were actually very fortunate to have any burgers after Wanpo tried to circulate the city before going from Queen St to Ponsonby. No really... a short route turned into roads never travelled, and he wasn't sure if we would make it out alive. Toto and I were staring our fates straight in the face, wondering who's traits Wanpo had inherited (Toto lost, or my "shortcuts"). Wanpo said shortcut... I won.

Toto and I avoided Single Awareness Day by hooking up for a lovely moonlit ride (no wait... it pissed down, so there were clouds - but only for a few min) to Wellsford. Since it had rained, and he had nefarious ideas about visiting places after dark we scrapped ideas for Mangawhai or Waipu and reversed direction back down 16, Peak, Old North back to the city, detouring to the aforementioned Sharry for a night time raid pressie giving. I was most impressed Toto actually managed to get to her house correctly this time... me thinks he could be improving? No... probably not.

One Tree Hill visited with some grass/dirt track excursions, Toto said he was hungry (only what, 4 hours after dinner?), so I knew a 24/7 place in the city with scrummy pizzas and burgers, so more shit talking and eating.

    Then we went home. Separately.

I knew exactly the direction I needed to go, and the road I wanted to take to get there... and then we drove under it.

Well I was wining and dining my girly at Mikano - I was pleasantly surprised at how good the place was and top notch food (the only hiccup was a wrong entree was given to my girl, but quickly sorted out).

Watched helicopters take off all evening and saw how they were moved about on the ground (very interesting). It got me to thinking about how we would be handling our helicopters if we owned/flew them.

Gremlin would be the last one you would fly in since it would return with branches and other terrain features plastered on and about it.

Gale_wolfs would be used to straight line flying only and get there quickly.

I would probably be flying a different version every time and be eccentric and fly an auto-gyro as a runabout.

Sharry would be missing a light.

Wanpo would have very uncomfortable seats.

TOTO would be mistaken for a flying grasshopper (green)

Anyhow, good to see you guys can still muck up an approach to a food premise as norm! The Hornet Night Swarm rides lives up to its reputation!

sounds like you boys had a lovely date night... so much for "avoiding" single awareness day! and just cause you went home "separately", did you have a lovely stop at the lookout?
