yeah well as I said... I'm too busy... so I don't know when, if at all this year, I will be able to come on a monday ride
My riding is likely to be restricted to wed afternoons or weekends, for this semester anyway

    Awww, poor wanpo.

I'll try to be there, but I have a meeting from 5pm at the Uni that I strongly suspect will run later than 60mins...

Edit: Going to skip out at 6pm - have a friend who wants to come Swarming. An excellent excuse...

Sounds like monday was a fail!

So are you going to be changing the time since day light saving is finishing... ie are you making it later? like 7:30, or 8pm??

Why make it later? I can barely attend at 6pm let alone 7.30, that makes no sense...

Well chaps, with all this talk about getting new bikes - I guess that time of the year has come! Haha!

In true bike-whore fashion I am in the market for another bike, not sure what I actually want this time, usually I have a firm grasp on what I'd like but this time the ballpark is completely open.

Naked, Adventure, Sports, Supersports, StupidSports, I'm open to everything - I'm even gonna go for a test ride on a busa to see how it stacks up in the handling and heat department. Then I might move onto something more realistic like a Sprint circa 06, 07 - but I think for that type of bike the clipons may be raised a bit too high for my liking.

I had a Transalp as a loan bike the other day, apart from having heat shunted to my thighs and knees on a very warm morning, I actually really liked it. It was so nimble! Unfortunately it's not so great for lanesplitting though with wide and high bars and mirrors. It even sounded pretty good too!

Wanpo how tall are you? I might have a look at a CBR1000 also if it's rideable for my height (i'm all leg).

I'm probably 6'1"ish CBR is definitely a comfortable size, As far as I remember, the ZX10 was the worst fitting for a taller chap and the CBR/R1 were the best. the GSXR I remember my knees resting against a outcropping of fairing.
