Well was a nice, quiet and sedate ride around the usual environs, ending up at Momotea in Meadowlands!

Usual blatherskiting and pithy insults bandied about. Was good to see Steelphoenix again after such a long absence!

We were set to go snow hunting, but Wanpo's bald spot put paid to that! (his tyre, not his hair ... oh, wait ... he might as well have been bald also!)

Weather held up pretty well too!

Was good to see you all again! And I did really enjoy actually going out for a ride - even as a pillion (hehe, CBRthou totally on my list of bikes I'd like).

Am now thawing in front of the heater...

Get a room you two! Actually, it was funny when Steelphoenix was on the back of Wanpo's bike. I'm used to seeing small asian lasses on it - the size difference was apparent! (no, not a dig at you Steelphoenix, just an observation!)

Was good to hear nzmikey ... learnt some new skills in riding conditions not usually encountered! I guess hunting snow would have been too much adventure?

Nothing is impossible, just infinitely improbable?

Curiously enough, the only thing that went through the mind of the bowl of petunias as it fell was Oh no, not again.

Also, yes, tense was wrong, but - *prods* - don't you go maligning my poor bike, may she rest in peace (or pieces, alternatively - I have some of them).

Ah, life without Gremlin... wait, am I supposed to take over his duties of bugging the shit out of everyone in his absence?
