Last minute spidey-sense thing came up, so bailed out tonight for the ride!

So staying tucked up at home (getting soft in my old age!)

At last the coup is successful!

Tonight we had a Suzuki Swarm

Ok it was only 2 bikes but it's a start. Toto abandoned his Hornet for a shiny new Suzuki V-Strom. He even rode a Gixxer Thou out through Maraetai way tonight. Feelin' the Suzuki love

good night out for sure, never mind we were on suzukis. Got proven yet again that i should not own a superbike for the road but aas a track machine - hell yea.

Some nice rodes were ridden, some yummy food was consumed and plenty of motorsykle stories told. Nice night to test the weather deflecting capabilities of the DL too

Will be doing a few more afternoon rides on the shiney toy and also as a training for the grand challenge, so if someone is keen to go riding after 6pm next few days, come keep me company

p.s. thumbs up to your mum for taking the video Rob, I see I'm not far away from you too (black leathers white helmet, 3 riders to the left)

Doing the GC on a v-strom Toto?

So... do you feel a bit dirty having ridden a Spewzuki?

Had heaps of fun, I qualified in 13th (but slid out on the hairpin in the last qualifying lap, so I lost heaps of confidence) They redid the qualifying so that our placing in the first Pro Lites race was our starting position (Requalified in 17th.)

Not sure where I came for the middle two races (4 on the day.) But we missed the start for one of them and had to enter from pit lane and chase from the tail. The last race was the LeMans start, I started in 17th, and finished in 13th. Gained heaps of places in the start

Nice! You must be working on your impression of that cheesy dude in A Twist Of The Wrist 2

The hyo-zuki colour scheme looks like it turned out pretty well. Post more pix.
