Ooh serendipity for someone behind you that had film footage of your Rossi moment!

I actually saw that happen! I was thinking "jeez, hope that wasn't one of the guys!" - when I didn't see you riding around, I was like and then "hope that will buff out!"

As it transpired, it did! Will post up the photos I took when I get them formatted right!

Ah the wonders of the modern age. Always someone present to record and preserve our interesting moments. And now you have handy dandy crash analysis footage!

Toto and Wanpo how much overall did it cost to get a race-ready 250 going? Including gear, paint and everything.

Including leathers, bike, registrations, paint and entries for the season etc, I'd say ~$6k (depending largely on bike price, mine was <$3000

Nice day for a ride, ended up in Raglan via SH22 - had a couple of pies and back home again! (I originally just wanted to fill my tank up!)

Just over 3k for me. to be fair I already had, leathers, boots, gloves, helmets , van etc... but if you are a regular track day goer or a regular road rider even you have those items anyway.

3k for the bike and all the fees. Cheap racing really.

Got home last night somewhere around 10 or 11. Mate is standing outside showing my gf his new 2000 Triumph 600TT.

I dont know who was more excited, me or him. We went for a little ride, and I had a little play. Fantastic bike. For it's size, it feels deceptively nimble, and ignoring the fact I'm not used to hunching over on a sportsbike, it was really comfortable. Slightly jealous. Gonna get him to post up some pics and hopefully come for a ride on monday. I think we got home at about 1.30 this morning, which would explain why I slept in and was late for work

hells yeah, looking forward to a decent ride tonight, it feels like we've been doing more talking than riding recently (although shore->botany momo tea->shore is the perfect length for a sports bike rider)

This can be our Marco Simoncelli rememberence ride.
