Thinking of getting lost in Northland tomorrow, and cruising up SH12 and doing a loop. The only times Ive been on that road I was a child, drunk, or hungover, so I dont remember what its like as a driving road.
Thinking of taking sh16 to Wellsford, then sh12 to the Hokianga Harbour for a late lunch, then looping back down. By my guesstimation this should be a reasonable days ride.
    Thoughts?

Well, apparently it's snowing in Hell. I went and dug Scoot out from whence she had been hibernating for a while, covered in dust and a dust cover... Scoot had been thrown in storage after the last track day I rode in NZ - but aside from a dead battery, strangely soft tires, and some bad connections in the ignition loom (thanks to ZXRider for wiggling wires until she screamed into life), she looks pretty good.

So, anyone up for a wee ride anytime soon?

Photographic evidence attached to prove that Scoot is no longer jammed in a shed with cobwebs, old cars, and my collection of jars of body parts...

It’s diametrically opposed to the sanitised existence of the Lemmings around me in the Dilbert Cartoon hell I live in; it’s life at full volume, perfect colour with high resolution and 10,000 watts of amplification.

You don't seem to have much luck lately with your bike

    Hopefully it's nothing too bad...

Hey, Lance and I keep popping into Treads only to discover that you're on holiday. Lance is whining about needing a new chain...

Another ride would be great, LOL!
