Two things: Firstly, if bagging on Aucklanders gives second class citizens a little happiness in their otherwise bleak and horrible lives, good for them.

Secondly, I've been riding daily, so the weather doesnt bother me, its everyone else who is too pansy to ride

When did it break out? If it was Tuesday last week or before then yoyu should not be contaigous. I havn't been vacinated or had it so will keep away from you this week if it broke out after last Tuesday.

What would need to be done to allow my 600 to work with a 17 inch front wheel? Could it be done? there is a 900 being wrecked on trademe and I am thinking of buying the front wheel if Cycletreads can't fix my wheel problem.

I noticed it on wednesday last week, it hasn't scabbed yet, so apparently I'm still in the contagious phase.

After having chickenpox, the virus lies dormant. When your immune system is low, it can re-manifest itself.

I had a cold last week, and probably an abrupt change in diet (I decided to ditch the low-carb thing until I was better) and stress etc let it come and play.

Yeah, but normally you get a measles, mumps, and rubella vaccination when you're young (I think), so thankfully they are less likely.

Chicken soup and video games will fix anything.
