If you're coming on to me, I suggest you try a full time honda poof, perhaps zeocen?

I would like to state that IIII never said 20-30km... I knew we were pretty much going to Mangatawhiri. GiJoe lied to you... I suggest you lynch him. I definitely found the dialogue amusing when we stopped at the turn around.
Badger: I thought this was a short ride
    Me: It is?
GiJoe: This is par for the course for me
Badger: Well, I had no idea where we were, and didn't recognise any roads. Then I see signs for TAURANGA!! WTF!!!
    Me:
Shingo: I only recognised the straight with a kink in it. Then we took a right, and we NEVER turn right there.

*A brief interlude for Gremlin to get walloped on the back by Badger*

Trace: *makes some angry comments about a new bike and gravel*
    Me:
Me: Hey, less than 5 days, and its dirty and been through gravel, am I good or what?
    Trace: *glare*

xwhatsit just started speaking to gijoe again, after the cape reinga trip, we thought we had killed the poor bugger.

Besides, for these poor insulated folk, this was adventure. I thought gijoe and I kept it pretty mild, since it didn't involve corn fields or forestry roads

For the record i am normally all up for adventure, and loved the roads. Not being able to see wasnt so fun, but that was soon remedied at the stop. Just this particular evening i wasnt up for a long night, as i was in need of some rest.

I was very tempted to just head for home at clevedon, but felt it was a little short for even a short evening jaunt. Then i had assurances of only 20 or 30k tops, so figured that'd round out the evening just nicely. Lets just say i'm glad i had my earplugs in, cause i was scream-singing inside my hemlet all the way back on the moronway to keep myself with it, and it somehow kept me warmer too

I distinctly heard 20-30kms is all we were doing... then i heard gremlin was taking the lead and he start programming his gps... oo oh!
heading into a rather step down hill section there were 30km signs and i was praying it was just signs left up for no good reason... but NO! just getting my nerve back and gremlin bloody leads me into gravel 3 days after getting a new bike!
But note: i was not the one who started the comments as to taking me through gravel.. that was GI Joe - i don't care about ticking through it, but was gutted it was already dirtay! i couldn't bare to uncover her this morning and see the dirt! poor GI Joe was stuck behind me ticking through the bloody gravel - no wonder he was the oen to comment!

i was glad to hear when we stopped that the other two had no idea where we were either!

Unfortunately, i was the one who ended up infront of zeocen... while im riding like crap, that just happens to be when there is a camera!
