It was a luffely ride, once I got back from Guatemala (they don't call me the lost Bitch for nuthin)
And I could not tell that you were beached as you sprinted up the stairs, I think it is you that TOTO has been practising ballet with, and pulled together a supurb dinner![]()
Heheh, the guatemala line came from me standing in the drive itching to go... lube chain... still waiting... sort out gear... still waiting... clean a bit of crud off... still waiting... Where the heck is she? i wanna ride!
Glad you enjoyed the ride and the dindins, was a most enjoyable eve. You're welcome to a repeat any ol time![]()

Well, this morning I dropped off my Big Ol'Hornet to Botany Honda for its regular service ... and got given a ... Big Ol'Hornet to ride again as a loaner!![]()
Anyway, rode to BP Botany to await the turn up of the crew ... and with a nice gourmet pepper steak pie and a Frank's Passionfruit and Tart Lemon fizzy drink, I was all set to go.
Eventually Badger8 and pillion turns up first ...
Then Andy_r ...
Then Musicman with pillion and Sharry!
All present and accounted for, TOTO would be riding in from afar and would catch us up later!
So off we tootle, via Whitford to Maraetai to yada blada blah (most people know the score for that sort of ride by now!)
I was in my favoured position of TEC!Roads were relatively emptied of traffic, nice overcast day and apart from a teeny tiny amount of gravel it was all plain riding!

Had the usual scoff of tucker at the Kaiaua fush n'chuppies when TOTO rocked on up .. with a Ducati behind him! By this stage we had all eaten and we got on with the most important thing ... riding!
Off to Hunuas to Clevedon where I said goodbyes to the group ... my Big Ol'Hornet was ready to be picked up! $180 later, I was busy chortling my way back home via the long way home (is there any other way for me?)
A great day out pootling around in good company. Piccies to come mon amis!
Pic1 : Stopped at Kawakawa for a stretch for the pillions
Pic2 : Awww ain't that a cute piccie?
Pic3 : Smile for the birdy! Er wait ... helmets people? :slap:
Pic4 : Ooer!What's going 'ere then?
Pic5 : Andy_r playing around with Musicman's lever? Oh! I do say!
Pic6 : Sharry wondering what was going on just before ...
"I like to ride anyplace, anywhere, any time, any way!"![]()
And once more riding to the beach dear friend,
Once more I say!
He who rides with me this day,
Shall evermore be my biking boon companion!
So let slip your throttles and once more unto the beach!
Pic1 : At the Kaiaua fush n'chupperies ... Andy_r remonstrated when I took the first group pic since he wasn't in it, I have cleverly photochopped him in!
Pic2 : Oh look at the generational thing! The jazzy Jade 250 of Sharry's lined up next to the next generation Hornet 250 of Andy_r's. This triumvirate of Horneteering is finished with gijoe1313's borrowed Big Ol'Hornet!![]()
Pic3 : TOTO, musicman and Andy_r practising their male modelling revue for "Bad Boys of Biking" magazine.
Pic4 : Surely it's Shirley by the seaside? Musicman's pillion for the day!I think there's a story there somewhere!
Pic5 : The Jade, TOTO's Hooligan and gijoe1313's borrowed Big Ol'Hornet!
"I like to ride anyplace, anywhere, any time, any way!"![]()
Well done with pics ol' mate. it was certainly a good day of riding finnished up with a spot of site seeing and drooling at Pukekohe track. I have do got to have a go on that track now that I have laid eyes on it![]()
Completely forgot about the ride!
Spent the day making a platform to attach some trail run pizzas to so i can relieve the bosses worries about cornering messing them up. Cornering turned out to NOT mash the pizzas (as i had thought), braking however does.
Pizza still tasted good though, even more so because i got the parents to pay for them![]()

Ya silly sausage! Ya missed a good ride. Sounds like you had some fun with pizza's tho
Sirje and I had a lovely day, thanks to all who came out for the ride. Hope you all had fun at the races! She was reading the ride report and keep laughing whenever she saw the word pillion "It reminds me of that word minion! i'm your minion!"
Couple of pics off my phone, left the camera behind darn it!
And GIJoe, any chance of some full size pics of those being emailed to me?
1. Sirje tryin out the Hornetto's pilot seat for size. Methinks she likes it!
2. Big flithy biker scum and cool biker chick out and about at the beach![]()

The original swarm was a monday 6:30pm in front of the Auckland City Library (Lorne St i believe). It has morphed somewhat into a "Who's keen tonight" kind of affair, with some weekend excursions too. Keep an eye on the thread for super secret locations and riders
Most monday's there is at least one keen, so if ya cant check in throughout the day try your luck then!
